Project Setting
This project was designed for use in an Academic Enrichment period at Lamberton Middle School. The Academic Enrichment class contains approximately forty students. This class consists of students that have opted not to take a foreign language. The class is taught by the four main academic teachers (math, science, English, and American Cultures.) Projects completed in Academic Enrichment are incorporated into one of the above classes depending on the relevance. This particular project is part of the students science grade.
Time Line
Due to the nature of Academic Enrichment this project can be adapted to fit a variety of time lines. Typically the project takes approximately twenty class periods. This may vary depending on the amount of discussion that occurs and the rate at which the students work.
